ctrlX I/O 1-channel Encoder Interface SSI Product Description The XI614001 encoder module enables the connection of an absolute encoder with SSI (synchronous serial interface) in a ctrlX I\/O station. Both singleturn and multiturn encoders are supported. The 24 V encoder supply can be provided directly via the module's connection points. The four additional digital inputs, which are designed in 2-wire technology, enable the connection of application-specific signals. The logic and peripheral voltage supply as well as the EtherCAT-based module communication are routed through the module.
